due to other forum posts I managed to get the dnsmasq on my ubuntu server 16.04 to use LXD’s internal nat-bridge DNS (server=/lxd/, bind interfaces and so on). Moreover I have a container called c1
Now, the host (workstationA) is in general accessible due to a DNS server in our companies network. It seems that a ping on c1.lxd.workstationA cannot be resolved from another workstation in the same network. My general knowledge how DNS resolution works is limited, so I am not sure how to move on, what did i overlook?
Does the general DNS needs to know the DNS on workstationA ahead?
