i worked with lxd for the first time and i created a container using ubuntu 22.04 image in my ubuntu 20.04 host and it worked. i don’t why because the container use the same OS kernel in my host.any help please?
Linux distributions aren’t particularly tied to a particular kernel.
There’s no problem running an Ubuntu 22.04 environment on an Ubuntu 20.04 kernel as you’re doing here. You could also run CentOS 7 in a container just fine in the same environment and it will similarly happily be running on the Ubuntu 20.04 kernel.
