I’m using the snap version of lxd and I noted, that there’s a lot of space wasted in /var/snap/lxd/common/lxd/backups.temp (over 50 GB).
The files are old (newest one is from June 20th, oldest one is from April).
I’m using a custom backup pool, so I think these files might be left over from when I switched to it, but unsure.
As the folder is called backups.temp I’m assuming it’s safe to just delete it - is it?
