Lxd debian container installing nextcloudpi - not working

lxd

#1

Hi guys this is totally not urgent nor very important and I am only posting this here as a wild shot so you can really ignore this if it is out of your scope but here goes:

There is this thing called Nextcloud - it is a n open source alternative to Dropbox

There is this community called NextcloudPi who offer an easy installation process of Nextcloud on variety of devices and OSs - Debian is one such environment.

here is the page where the curl download can be found

here is the actual ldebian curl download
curl -sSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nextcloud/nextcloudpi/master/install.sh | bash

So on Linux mint 19.1 I created an lxd debian container and installed the nextcloudpi - it kind of installed it but it does not really work.

I don’t know if any one has tried this??
I don’t know if you’re interested in checking out why it does not work?
Cheers

I think snap is supported on on the pi have you just tried $ snap install nexcloud

no i did not try.
i wanted to put the nextcloud on a stronger machine than the pi.
hence i tried to install it on a laptop with debian on - but this had some issues
then i tried installling it on Linux mint with debian lxd container - which only partially worked.
