Hi. I can’t find specific documentation or instructions, please help me with my question, I have 4 servers, 2 have database roles, 1 database-standby and the last one database-leader. I want to restart the one that has the leader role, do I need to do something beforehand?
You can issue lxd shutdown on the leader member. This will cleanly stop LXD and its instances on that member and transfer the leadership role to a new member.
This will happen anyway if you shutdown the server, but this way you can be confident the cluster has remained operational before you shutdown the current leader server.
