I have lost /var/lib/lxd but i still have the datastore which is a directory.
lxc profile device add default root disk path=/home/pc/.store pool=default
Error: Device validation failed for "root": Disk entry is missing the required "source" or "path" property
Any idea what that means? And if there is a way to recover my containers / bring in my data store?
All good. Had to use the recovery tool. And at that point was self explainatory, the tool would tell what devices/profiles are missing and had toi create them adn re-run the tool to import. However not all containers and machines appeared, do not know why.
