[Solved] Copying containers from old lxd to new lxd with ceph backend

Is there a recommended migration path when going to a ceph remote storage with lxd cluster?

I’m assuming that I see errors because of the ext4 filesystem from the old container when copying. rsync error code 12.

Creating containers in the new lxd works fine with the remote ceph and only the remote is configured, no local storage.

Old LXD: 2.0.11
New LXD: 3.0.2

Or would rebuilding the containers be the best option?

This is resolved with LXD 3.8.
