Using LXD as a container runtime with Kubernetes

I was just doing some searching and found this… A Kubernetes CRI shim for lxd

I guess this lets you use K8s to manage multiple LXD containers, at least in theory? Are there any plans to build on the clustering options in LXD to achieve High Availability setups within LXD itself?
