pyinfra is a newer (1.0 released around ~2020) entry in the agentless task-runner/config management family.
It is a pure python project, so we could potentially use the official pylxd library (if they’re willing to take on that dependency). Alternatively, we could wrap the lxc cli, like the Puppet Bolt plugin.
They call their plugins connectors.
