I’m about to change the IP address of the remote LXD host.
What do I need to do such that certificates and settings will follow along nicely with this change?
I’ve done this before but in that process also encountered issues with certificates on the host.
I could re-run “lxd init”, but I would rather not…
If not clustered, then you have very little to do other than change your client’s configs to access it over the new IP.
The IP info in the certificate isn’t actually used so you don’t need to re-generate them.
If clustered, things are a bit more complicated but still something I’ve done many times without much issues.
