It’s just as much about presentation as content, it’s effectively a landing page for the project. It needs to look better and exude more confidence (Incus is not that low level so it can get away with 90s html). Especially for enterprise, as the competition, limited to these two,
clearly cater better to enterprise in their wording and via their reputation. These are more attractive pages that give off vibes of a teams that care about appeal and positioning, proven products, healthy ecosystem, and wide adoption.
Now that I started inserting pages, if I include the link of Incus’s introduction,
the description is incorrect, it entails the organization not Incus the product. Another marker that makes it as if nobody wanted Incus to be regarded as an actual product, but only as an OSS project that happens to be powerful and pretty useful in the right hands.
Before anyone would go about rephrasing or adding paragraphs, directions are indeed of need, but from those who steer things. Just how much do you care about improving adoption rate and considering enterprise (at least to the point of recognizing them as an entity worthy of mentioning in the landing page – look what Proxmox VE does)? As per communication/optics go, and as per actual development, product strategy and support go – the latter of which is beyond the scope of (my character and) this thread but I couldn’t not have included it?
