Does OVN work on debian?

Yes that could work. We build ovs and ovn inside the snap to get the ovn-nbctl command we use to communicate with the external OVN northbound database, so the instructions used there may be of some help:

compiled ovs easy enough and installed
updated the schema as per instructions.
ovn was a pig and I’ve ended up with a trashed install and binaries all over the shop.
I’ll have another go on my clean server tomorrow with a fresh head. Need to get this working .
