I have the installation ISO of a a somewhat old Linux distribution. I’d like to create an image for that particular distribution & version, from my ISO. I had heard that LXD v3 allows that to happen properly.
How can I do that? I couldn’t find it anywhere in the readthedocs site. Is there a tutorial somewhere?
I’m not sure on the details but I think you might be able to install the ISO to a VM initially, then install the Go binaries and the lxd-p2c tool which should convert it to a container.
Never tried this yet though so not sure how it works with old stuff!
