LXD on WSL 2, will it work?

Just tried to install LXD on WSL2 and it did not work. I started a separate thread here on this, with plans to update when WSL2 is updated.

Compared to WSL1, WSL2 actually uses the Linux kernel running inside a lightweight version of Hyper-V. Therefore, it should be possible to get LXD running in there.
