Any thoughts about FOSDEM 2025?

I am considering going to FOSDEM this year. It would be my first time. I know a few other people from the community will be there.

Any advice on where to stay and what else is going on during the conference?

I’d usually recommend staying closer to downtown Brussels (grande place area).

The FOSDEM area itself has relatively little in the way of accommodation, so I’ve usually found it far easier to stay downtown, close to a train stations and then take a bus or Uber to FOSDEM.

One of the main bus lines going through downtown Brussels brings you right to FOSDEM, so that works pretty well, even if the bus tends to be pretty packed with geeks :wink:
