Hi! I use gentoo and install lxc-2.1.1. I run “sudo lxc-create -n gentoo-test -t gentoo” and
get response "Error: unable to fetch or untar ". On gentoo`s site have
http://distfiles.gentoo.org/releases/amd64/autobuilds/20180415T214502Z/stage3-amd64-20180415T214502Z.tar.xz , not bzip2
Switching to LXC 3.0 would get you the fix until we release 2.1.2. Alternatively you can grab an updated version of the lxc-gentoo script directly from https://github.com/lxc/lxc-templates which would include the fix too.
