Container can only ping other containers, nothing else including the bridge

I have a handful of containers working fine. One of the containers, which has been working fine for over a year, has lost network connectivity. It can’t ping the bridge, it can ping other containers, but nothing else.

Having more than a single default gateway on your host seems suspicious:

that’s prob it. I’ve never set that up (I am not even familiar with networking on linux enough to mess with it)

a reboot would might solve it. but should I remove the route with metric 101? how?

The routes with metrics 100 and 101 are both assigned by DHCP. Something is then running a DHCP client on those.

systemd-resolve and dnsmasq were running. a reboot fixed it. i hope it doesn’t come back, but as of now I will chalk it off to mystery. thanks!
