Container does not startup after adding a mountpoint

I recognized a strange behavior on our lxd machines.

If I add a nfs mountpoint from the host as a new disk device this works without problems and I’m also able to ls the mountpoint inside the container. After stopping the container the new “disk” is part of the device config. When trying to start the container again it fails with the error “mount_entry:2459 - Operation not permitted - Failed to mount”.
Any ideas why this happens or where to search for more information why this happens?

I encountered similar issue in 5.3.

Issue is gone after downgrade back to 5.2.

Can you show uname -a please?

Linux T-0007322db921 5.10.0-8-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.46-4 (2021-08-03) x86_64 GNU/Linux

Thanks.
