I enabled shiftfs to LXD on Ubuntu 20.04 but I cant find any different attributes/options in new containers.
I thought maybe
volatile.idmap.current
will dissapear or something else I see no changes in container definition

On new containers created after the switch to shiftfs, you should see volatile.last_state.idmap be set to [].
But that’s about the only difference in LXD configuration you’ll observe, the other variables are still used the usual way.
