I run a bunch of LXD 5.11 containers on Debian 11.6 bare metal.
I want to convert one of the the containers to a Debian VM on ESXi 7.0.2.
Is there a tool or fairly straightforward procedure facilitating that?
No there isnt a tool for this currently.
You can use “lxc export” to create a tarball containing the raw disk image though, which could then conceivably be imported to vmware.
