[General Question] Where to post (feature) requests?

The issue template in the github repo (at least that for lxd (GitHub - lxc/incus: Powerful system container and virtual machine manager)) says that issue reports are only for bugs:

Github issues are used for bug reports. For support questions, please use our forum.

So where should feature requests and other requests be posted at best?
For example:

  • in this forum?
  • on github?

Maybe you could add another issue template to github.
Or add a seperate (sub-)category to the forum, for (feature) requests.

It’s usually done on Github, skipping most of the template as not relevant for those.
