Connecting to liberachat from a cloud instance
If following this guide from a cloud instance, when connecting to libera (step 4 under configure weechat) you may be be refused access with a message reading SASL access only (see the libera chat docs.
If this happens, you can repeat this guide on your local machine in order to register your email address, password, and certificate. Then use the same certificate on your cloud instance to get connected.
Everything else in this guide worked great!
