How to increase display resolution of Windows VM

I have created a Windows 11 VM which I’m accessing via Spice viewer. The screen resolution of my LXD host (my laptop) is 1920x1080. The ‘Display resolution’ of my Windows VM is set to 1280x800 and cannot be edited (it is greyed-out). How can I set the screen resolution of my Windows VM to match the much higher resolution of my laptop?

Have you tried changing the screen resolution from within Windows itself?

Thank you for your reply.
The display resolution setting is grayed-out and cannot be changed.
Do I need to install some more display drivers perhaps? Which ones?

Download virtio-win.iso from Index of /groups/virt/virtio-win/direct-downloads/archive-virtio/virtio-win-0.1.271-1

That should let you refresh the drivers, especially the virtio-vga driver.
I know that in my VMs I can select other resolutions, so it’s either a driver problem or some display configuration that’s being weird.

Thank you. Would refreshing the drivers also have solved my issue here: lxc - LXD with Win11 no network adapter driver - Ask Ubuntu
