Import an .iso backup in a container LXC

Hi all, I did a .iso backup of a machine, so I deleted the machine and installed new OS and LXC.
Now, I want create a container starting from this .iso, is possible? And if yes how?
If no, there is a right way to do this backup and affront this scenario?

The standard filesystem for .iso isn’t POSIX compliant, meaning that all permissions, modes, xattrs, … have all been lost when it got generated. This effectively makes it impossible to create a container form it.

That’s unless you’re using an odd filesystem on that CD image or the backup itself is a big tarball or the like stored on it.
