Incus Default size Fixed as 30Gb and unable to increase size incus 6.0 & Rocky Linux 9.5 incus 6.4 Problem

Greetings , i have faced two different issues as below

  1. Incus Default size Fixed as 30Gb and unable to increase size incus 6.0 in debian 12 with zabbly based 6.0 LTS repository , during incus admin init not set any storage size and using btrfs , not able to edit and change fixed disk size 30Gb, but have 256 GB ssd originally used by host machine (used as physical x86_64 amd based machine , some time vm’s stopped working without any error logs .
  2. Faced Issues on Rocky linux 9.5 with below details need to resolve issues

Rocky Linux 9.5 incus installed with qemu-kvm and linked with sudo ln -s /usr/libexec/qemu-kvm /usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 but face error as below:

Need resolution , if incus server works for Rocky linux 9.5 or not any official gudie or tutorials for creating containers and VM inside bare metal(physical amd based machine)

incus storage set default size=100GiB or something like that should work fine.

Thanks for your fast response, storage size command which works perfectly with incus 6.0 in Debian 12 issue resolved.

As per the issue addressed in github ie Better support RHEL build of QEMU · Issue #1301 · lxc/incus · GitHub , based on that spice is not supported that is now clear and understood , but need to clarify that incus works in Rocky Linux 9.5

Exact problems faced as below

  1. under Rocky Linux 9.5 after everything installed properly faced problem after enabled incus as root user as
    #systemctl enable --now incus.service , which will not starts after reboot and any files to be created for enable under /etc/systemd/…
  2. Exact Problem Faced is: After symbolic linking done and qemu version check and commands work in host , libvirt installed completely but tried many bug fixings faced repeated error as below:

That’s exactly what’s covered in this issue I keep linking.

QEMU in RHEL derivatives, including Rocky Linux doesn’t have the required SPICE support.
Without SPICE supported, QEMU cannot run and you are therefore unable to create virtual machines.
