I have created a backup script that uses a dedicated incus backup server to backup multiple nodes or clusters, I was aiming for a minimalist replacement for the proxmox backup server as that was the last reason I stayed with pve.

It covers all projects within a server and is “tagged” based, using dedicated empty profiles.
The script is a simple but effective bash script that can be easily scheduled via crontab.

It is obviously far from perfect, but seems to work well for me.
And might be a good alternative to using bandwidth-hogging tar.gz exports.
