Lxc list command stuck on btrfs pool after reboot

Hi,
I am using btrfs as a storage pool.
When i initiate lxd init i can configure everything without errors, afterwords launching containers etc… gives no issues.
But when i reboot, running lxc commands becomes a mess. Most of the commands get stuck.

The debug output of the command line client isn’t particularly useful, what you need is the server side log.

/var/snap/lxd/common/lxd/logs/lxd.log and journalctl -u snap.lxd.daemon -n 300 are likely to be quite a bit more useful to figure out what’s causing a startup failure.

If it was a hang in the LXC communication, it would timeout after 10s, the fact that it’s stuck indefinitely more likely points to the kernel being unhappy for some reason, hopefully that output will help track this down.

Your kernel is completely deadlocked into what looks like a btrfs disk operation.
Looks like it may be disk space related too.

I’d recommend checking that df -h doesn’t report your root filesystem has being full, if it does, fix that immediately. If not, try to reboot your system and hope that this was just an isolated event from the btrfs kernel driver.

The root is 128GB and far from full.
