Lxc move to remote fails - Volume already exists on storage but not in database

Had a machine crash while copying a lxc container to a remote lxc server. The container does not show up in the lxc list of the remote, but if I try moving it from the local to the remote again I get an error message:

Error: Failed instance creation: Error transferring instance data: Failed creating instance on target: Volume already exists on storage but not in database

Had a look around the forum and read the manual but cannot quite figure out the best way forwards from here. My guess would be to somehow delete the volume, then re-copying it to the remote, but how?

What storage pool are you using on the remote target, please can you show lxc storage show <pool> on the remote?

Hey,

there were some additional issues with the remote server so it was re-built from scratch and now everything works. Sorry about the wasted time, would have liked to have figured out the issue in case it happens again in the future.

Thank you for the response regardless.
