My LXD (Snap!) magically updated to 4.0.1 without me doing anything! How?
As far as I can tell my containers did not restart. I am puzzled 
Both lxc --version and lxd --version returned 4.0.0 and now they both return 4.0.1…
That’s what snaps do, by default snapd will look for updates once or twice a day and apply them when available.
When LXD is refreshed, the daemon goes away for a short time but all containers remain running, so unless you’re interacting with the daemon directly, you won’t notice.
