LXD on Ubuntu Xen kernel (Dom0)

Is it possible to run LXD on top of a Xen Dom0?

I would like to have access to the hypervisor functions of Xen as well as container functions.
The plan would be to run Ubuntu (without systemd), with the Xen kernel and ZFS storage.
The DomUs woud use ZFS zvols and the containers would be backed by ZFS storage.

I’m not sure if it’ll work however, are there any known conflicts between LXD and the Xen kernel?

That should be fine. I’m not aware of any problem with using a xen-enabled kernel with LXD containers.
