Mount and inspect file in stopped container

I am moving from the apt version of lxd to the snap version of lxd as I migrate from Ubuntu 18.04 to Ubuntu 24.04. In the older version, I could mount a stopped container and get an inventory of all the files located within it.

Is there a way to mount a stopped container in lxc 5.21 so that I can do the same thing?

This support forum used to support LXD but does not anymore.
We are supporting Incus, which is a continuation of LXD.

Incus is available as a deb package (apt), latest version is 6.1.
