Network interface is too long

I have account with uid of 199999999 and every time incus tries to connect I get:

Error: Get “http://unix.socket/1.0?project=user-999999999”: read unix @->/var/lib/incus/unix.socket.user: read: connection reset by peer

I turned on the daemon debug and I see in the server log a request for “Network for user restricted project user-user-199999999” but an error due to “Network interface is too long (maximum 15 characters)”

I can’t figure out how to create project for this account when every time incus tries to create a restricted project it fails because incusbr-199999999 is too long of in interface name.

We added logic for that case a little while ago, so this suggests you may be on an older version of Incus.

I switched to LTS and everything is good!
