hello! I was curious to know about the roadmap for officially supporting rocky9. Is that something to be expected end of 2024?
It’s not something that’s under our control. We don’t officially or unofficially support any distribution.
It’s up to the individual distribution and their packagers to package Incus at which point we encourage them to add installation instructions to our documentation.
For Rocky and all the others using EPEL, progress has been made recently with the release of Incus to Fedora rawhide, this is then supposed to be used as the base for an EPEL package.
@Conan_Kudo and others have been working on this with the plan to push Incus 6.0.1 LTS to those users.
