For those folks running Docker nested in LXD, there’s been an ongoing bug with the preferred storage backend (overlay2) forcing aufs/overlay to be used.
Upstream looks like they’re in the process of fixing
Hard to tell if the Ubuntu team will package the fix, but docker-ce should likely be getting it.
Been waiting for the day when we can run kubernetes easily in LXD, seems the perfect place to run it if it becomes easier! Had to jump through loads of hoops to get it half-working and ended up having to use a plain old Jurassic VM to host it instead in the end.
