I can’t seem to grab the gpg key via curl or wget from my server , it just stays stuck. If I manually go to the website and copy it over I can’t do apt update to update the repo for LTS… This just started happening after a fresh install of Debian. Im following the basic instructions from GitHub but idk what else could be happening. Is the repo up ?

The important part of the message, the last part, says that the requested image could not be found.
But if you run the following, you get many results. But you get results because in this case, the ubuntu
part is used as a filter among available images.

So, when is a string a filter and when is it an exact match? In the following, this ain’t an exact match. images:ubuntu
is not a specific image.

But this is an exact match.

When you specify an image in Incus, it is important to be specific in order to avoid surprises. If you were to type images:ubuntu
and expect that the system would assume that you want to select the current LTS version of Ubuntu, whichever version that is, would add uncertainty.
Yep, it looks like your right. Perhaps LXD used to work without giving version. Or I just got lazy.
May be it would be a good idea to give a reminder if you try to create container without a complete dist name.
