I launching a container right now using the default settings but my image retrieval process si running very slowly: Retrieving image: rootfs: 3% (145.03kB/s)
I saw this issue right here: https://github.com/lxc/lxd/issues/7136, but trying images:ubuntu/bionic/cloud doesn’t make it any faster.
Its likely an issue with inter-connectivity between your server and the image servers.
Do you know which of the image servers you are hitting , UK or US?
Looks like an issue with Canonical network that is hosting the image servers. I am experiencing slowdowns too and there are some others experiencing general slowness for downloading Ubuntu ISOs too.
