Stopped instances report STATE ERROR

Incus 6.1.

Didn’t notice it earlier because my VM are running all the time.

The first time I was aware was migrating a bsd machine. Migration went well but the imported machine, that should be stopped, was reported as state=error

It doesn’t affect containers and doesn’t affect VM during normal operation. (they’re able to start just fine)

ERROR normally indicates a stuck/dead QEMU process, so you may want to look at ps fauxww | grep qemu to be sure that nothing’s leftover.

Oh, no, actually, you’re just hitting a small bug in 6.1 which got fixed right after release but didn’t get cherry-picked in all distros.
