Trouble with LXD Networking – Containers Can not Reach External Network

Hey everyone,

I have been running LXD for a while now but I hit a networking issue that is got me stumped. I have a few containers set up & they work fine internally but they can not seem to access the external network or the internet.

I’m using the default lxdbr0 bridge and from the host, I can reach the internet without any problems. However, inside the containers, I can’t even ping 8.8.8.8. Also I have tried checking iptables, verifying that dnsmasq is running & even enabling IP forwarding (net.ipv4.ip_forward=1) but no luck.

Does anyone have any troubleshooting steps or ideas on what could be causing this? Do I need to manually set up NAT or tweak firewall rules? While working on this, I was also looking into an AWS DevOps Course & I improve my networking knowledge. Any insights would be helpful!
Also i have see this How to access lxd containers in ovn network from host still need guidance.

Thank you…

I am sorry. We do not support LXD in this forum.
