Ubuntu bionic disappeared

When running the command

lxc-create -t download -test -- -d ubuntu -r bionica amd64

there is an error

ERROR: Couldn't find a matching image
lxc-create: kladovochka: lxc container.c: create_run_template: 1627 Failed to create container from template
lxc-create: kladovochka: tools/lxc_create.c: main: 317 Failed to create container kladovochka

It was always installed, but then it stopped, as I understand it, the system was simply removed.

How can I put it on, or maybe I have a problem?

Ubuntu 18.04 (bionic) reached end of life in June 2023.
We don’t publish images for distributions that are end of life.

(Yes, I’m aware that Canonical provides extended support past the regular end of life, but you can’t build your own images with the extended support packages as that requires a subscription)

Welcome!

I am not sure if you can specify a local image with LXC. If you can, then you can probably download the images from Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver) release [20230607]

You can definitely import those 18.04 images in Incus.

If there are no active repositories, you can set up http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/. Obviously, there will be no updated packages or security updates, but who I am to judge if you want to just set up a honeypot. Note that you can create a launchpad dot net account, and get for free the extended support for up to three systems.
