I found this old post which talks about Ubuntu Core images on the images server. I couldn’t find them either on images or on ubuntu servers. Are they no longer recommended to run on LXD containers or am I not looking correctly?
Yeah, they were always very very hard for us to keep working as container images so we discontinued those a couple years back at this point.
