What does it mean that Red hat deprecated native LXC support in Redhat's virtualization products)?

Hi All,
I am trying Linux containers and came to know that we are using RHEL distro for one of the application which we wanted to containerize. What does it mean by vendor support is not available for LXC on Red hat?

What would be the best option for me going forward Docker vs LXD/C considering this application is stateful and more of OSI layer 3 application with the only work IPv6 over IPv4 (sit) or IPv6 over IPv6 (ip6ip6) tunnel.

These are the following article I came across:- https://www.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/92axsm/linux_containers_vs_docker_containers/
