Set smbios data for a vm?

Hi,

i am testing Windows 11 development VMs under lxd and need to set a system serial number in smbios for Intune autopilot. My issue is i have no idea how to change smbios data for a vm. I found this topic Dmidecode -s system-serial-number no working how to set it? but the command no longer works…

-smbios always end in “Error: unknown shorthand flag: ‘s’ in -smbios”

What is the correct way to modify smbios in lxd VMs?
